We are getting married at the historic Gruene Estate property, right outside New Braunfels, Texas. The property was first settled by Ernst Gruene after migrating from Germany in the 1800’s. He also founded the town and community of Gruene in essentially his backyard. This tiny historic town is one of our favorite places and is home to Texas’s oldest dancehall. The Wedding Chapel

Located in the middle of the property, this open-air wooden chapel perfectly encapsulates the Texas charm we love and will be the location of the wedding ceremony. It has traditional chapel seating with a beautiful view of the farm behind.

The Reception Venue

Just up the hill from the Chapel, a path guides you to the grand hall where we will be spending the evening celebrating our wedding, from the cocktail hour, to the dancing! Like the chapel, the reception hall has open-air windows (with screens if needed) and an outdoor area for games, a firepit for cigars, and a full-size bar ready for service 😊
